    Description

    Renowned matte artist Albert Whitlock created this concept painting on glass for a project called “Lost World.”
    For this view, the artist
    created
    a jungle
    that
    employed
    an
    animated
    dinosaur that loomed over Whitlock, inserted via bluescreen, as he held a rifle and tried to remain out-of-view.
    Whitlock had hoped to be co-producer on "Lost World" with Jack Arnold, but the overall concept was left undeveloped.
    This matte painting is on a 57.5" x 34" sheet of glass in pine frame and is located in Los Angeles, California.
