    Description

    Ext. Budapest Parliament Bldg.
    The Baroness and the Butler
    Movie Production Concept Art Sketch
Something the public would never see when making a movie, back in the 1930s. This is truly one-of-a-kind. This is an original, vintage pencil/charcoal sketch of either a proposed scene or a scene to be produced of the romantic comedy movie
    The Baroness and the Butler
. We believe the sketch was drawn by Leopoldo Quijano. The drawing is actually a separate piece of paper adhered to a larger card stock board. The detailed scene is an exterior shot of the Budapest Parliament building. The 1938 movie starred Annabelle and William Powell. Based on the play
    Jean
    by
Ladislaus Bus-Fekete. The movie was produced by Twentieth Century-Fox and was directed by Walter Lang.
The above, may or may not be how the scene was cut in the final production editing phases. The art board measures 15" x 20". The artwork itself measures approximately 9.75" x 13.25". We encourage you to thoroughly read the "Condition Description" and to view all of the photos as they describe this item most accurately.
