This is a rare bowl featuring a transfer of Oswald in Center with Fe, Fi and Fo around the outside.
It measures 5 '' Diameter by 2.25" tall.
It is a heavy Porcelain.
It is in very good condition there are no chips or cracks.
There is some color loss inside the bowl on Oswald's scarf and one skate.
The back of the plate is
MARKED SANTONE , WARWICK CHINA , 1946 , MADE IN USA.
Oswald the Lucky Rabbit was created in 1927 by Walt Disney with Ub Iwerks and the team through twenty-six cartoon shorts.
Not without fits and starts, the series and its impish title character were an instant hit with audiences.
At the end of that initial run, Walt lost the contract to Oswald, which prompted the creation of Mickey Mouse.
Over the years, Oswald became a footnote in the Disney story and is currently experiencing a revival.
