Vintage All Original Ideal 1940-50’s Tony Doll Rare One-piece Dress 19”

PLEASE READ! You are buying as is! Please ask any questions before bidding. I am not a dealer or a shop owner I am just a doll lover downsizing in retirement. I bought this doll many years ago from an old friend who was selling off her childhood dolls. She is all original and still has the beautiful original paint on her eyes shadow eyelashes eyebrows and lips. There is a little bit of paint Missing from her lips but her face is bright and beautiful and not marred or scratched. It does appear that someone has touched up some paint around her mouth but it is very discreet. Her eyes are a beautiful light blue and work just the way they should. Her hair is the original crinoline sewn cap wig; while it is still shiny it could use some styling. The dress she wears is pictured in some of the doll value books and is in an original Tony outfit. It has no rips, tears, or holes. It does have some slight discoloring from aging. The sleeves elastic has lost its stretchiness but that can be easily fixed with new elastic or stitches from some elastic thread. It still has the original button closings in the back and the remnants of the tag. This dress is a rare, all in one jumpsuit, as the panties are attached to the dress. The panties have a rick rack trim at the legs. Her left arm has some spotting that may be removed with some special doll cleaners but I’ll leave that judgment to the new owner. Her legs and feet almost look like brand new as they are in such good condition. There is a tiny black spot on the right lower arm. This doll,may have a slight odor as I do not have a good sense of smell I cannot say for sure but it is not strong as you have to put your nose right next to the body to smell it. She really is a beautiful doll and in really great condition. And would sparkle in anyone’s collection of these well made dolls.
