    Description

    This is a Rare & Original 1840-1860 Early Militia 2 Piece Stamped Brass Belt Plate Buckle
    Recovered from a private property and acquired from an estate sale. Tongue and wreath eagle facing left with shield and holding arrows and wheat in his talons.  Wreath is smooth as is the loops however both have a line ridge design throughout.   Die stamped so the material is lighter and more delicate.
    Measures 2 3/4" inches wide and 2" inches tall.
