This auction is for an original signed concept drawing of the engineers ampule/urn from the (2012)

movie;
Prometheus. 24x17'' roughly
The artwork is in fair condition with minor wear from production and storage, it has small holes in each corner where it was pinned to a wall during production and very small tears. Nothing major as seen in the recent pictures. It is one of the original key concept drawings for the ampule, approved in person by
Ridley Scott
.
Included in this concept are three sizes of the ampules, a poem done in the language of the engineers, some productions notes, and an autograph from
Rob Sollis
.
We acquired this directly from the personal collection of the original artist
Rob Sollis
who was the creator of the engineer ampules. Rob was hired by the set-designer
Sonia Klaus
and worked directly
Ridley Scott
to come up with the final designs for the ampule. Once the final designs were approved, Rob began working on making the original hand-crafted raku fired ampules on-sight for the film. This concept is one the original key designs for the ampule.
