CUSTOM MADE SLINGS FOR PATIO FURNITURE MADE IN 3 DAYS FOR STOCK COLORS. Our online competitors will take 4-6 weeks. If you order it is always helpful to send some pics. When you order give us the size and material color in "MESSAGE TO SELLER."
If you forget you can always send a message to seller by clicking on the "CONTACT SELLER" link in the listing. Ebay sometimes blocks the message when sending measurements because they think you are sending your phone number. If you send dimensions and I ask for them the message was blocked by Ebay.
There is another company selling custom made slings on Ebay and their material is thinner than ours. There are 5 grades (A - E) of material and we only made slings with Grade A.
The price is .99 for 1 chair sling with the spline. Sitting chairs that require 2 pieces of material have an additional fee of for a total cost of .99 per chair. Lounges require 2 pieces of sewn material and require purchasing 2 pieces with a cost of .99 x 2.
SLINGS WE DO NOT MAKE:
1.We only make slings that are RECTANGULAR or SQUARE. Some furniture is wider at one end than the other or skinnier in the middle. Sometimes it is not noticeable, so please double check your width at the top, center and bottom. If the difference is under .5" at the top or bottom this is a rectangular sling and one side has stretched more than the other. 20 years ago when the first sling furniture was made some styles were a relaxed fit which means the material has a little sag in it. Normally at least 1 channel of the furniture is bolted to the frame and removable. If both channels cannot be removed you have the relaxed fit style and the old sling needs to be removed to determine size.
2. We do not sew slings that have 2 sides like a pillow case. Some brands with this style are Homecrest and Samsonite.
3. We do not sew padded slings with cushion material sewn into the sling.
4.One piece lounges. Some lounges have one continous piece of material for the seat and back. We do not sew one piece lounges. You can easily convert a 1 piece lounge to 2 pieces.
All our slings are sewn with a single hem on the top and side.
Shipping: We do not make anything on the shipping. We ship via USPS priority mail. The cheapest shipping amount costs us .75 for 1 sling. After the first piece we discount shipping for each additional piece. People that do not sell on Ebay typically do not know we pay 14% of the sales price and shipping amount to Ebay. If you pay for shipping we will pay .14 in fees just on the shipping amount. You can see we do not make anything on shipping and many times lose a little bit. I am mentioning this because we get many questions about shipping. My online competitors shipping charges start at for 1 sling.
The brand of material we use is made by Phifertex. It is the brand used by manufacturers that sell exclusively at patio furniture stores. The general public is familiar with Sunbrella. Sunbrella is used on the furniture at Costo, Home Depot, and the big box stores. The reason the Sunbrella sells for a yard and ours costs is because it is a much better product. Sunbrella is about 30% thinner than Phifertex and will not last as long.
Listed in the photos above are our 4 stock colors. After the photo of the 4 chairs are the swatches of the 4 material colors. Please tell me the exact name.
Every style of chair is a different size, so each order is custom made. These are not returnable. I would recommend watching a Youtube video on how to measure and install the sling before ordering.
Listed are the 4 most popular fabrics we sell. The picture of the 4 chairs shows the material in the same order as listed below. The material gets darker as you go from left to right. 90% of our customers choose one of these 4 options. They are very neutral and coordinate well with most settings. Measuring Instructions
Follow these instructions before beginning
Only
Measure the material while it is still in the frame and fully stretched out.
All slings are made to your specifications. Since they are custom made so they cannot be returned. If an error occurs in measuring we may be able to reuse the existing piece of material, however shipping charges and handling will apply. We recommend measuring twice and use an extremely flexible tape for the length to follow the contour of the chair. We sew in ¼” increments and only make rectangular or square slings. It is helpful to draw a rectangle representing the sling on paper to record your measurements. At any point if you are unsure don’t hesitate to call for advice.
1 Piece Chair or Ottoman
Measure Top & Bottom Width
1)
Locate the channels on each side of the furniture running top to bottom which the material slides into.

Sometimes a chair is a little wider at the very top or bottom so take these measurements 3” from the top and bottom. Measure from center of one channel to the other rounding to the nearest ¼”. It’s better to round the measurement wider than skinnier. Record the size.
3)
Double check your measurement. We only sew rectangular slings.
Measure Length
1)
It is best to use a skinny very flexible tape for the length because of the curves.
2)
Start at the top and follow the contour of the furniture to the bottom. Be sure to press the tape tightly against the contour and follow the flow of the furniture. Record the size rounding to the nearest ¼”. Round longer than shorter.
3)
