Description

INFANTRY OFFICER SABER 1882 with scabbard
Model 1882 with three secondary branches.
Spoon-shaped cap, surmounted by 3 discs of decreasing diameter.
Long crown tail.
Blackened buffalo horn handle, furrowed to receive a filigree of fine twisted brass wire.
Rounded joining arc, pierced with an eyelet at its upper part to pass the strap.
Three branches cut from the same metal plate as the arch and converging towards its middle.
Oval top finished with a curved and embossed quillon.

remains of marking on the blade illegible and punches on the heel
