    Description

    VINTAGE LARGE CHILD'S DIVIDED PLATE
    LITTLE BO PEEP - NURSERY RHYME DESIGN
    Fabulous large 10 3/8" Diameter ceramic pottery children's plate divided into 5 sections. The bottom section features a transfer of a lovely golden haired Little Bo Peep with two sheep following along behind in a flower strewn grassy field. Each of the 4 upper sections has the same transfer of a young lamb with a basket of fruit on it's back. Plate is a goldenrod yellow. Some normal light crazing to the ceramic glaze - proof of it's age. There is one small chip along the rim toward the bottom of the plate.
    Back of the plate has Tri-City Ceramics hand incised into the pottery. Normal 3 firing pin marks where the plate would have been set on 3 metal pins during firing. A hefty 1.5 lbs. Made in U.S.A. 1930's to 1950's perhaps?
