Launchpad Pro was initially marketed for Ableton Live but may also work with other music production software (FL Studio, Logic, etc). It inputs standard MIDI data into most DAWs, can control a MIDI chain with multiple devices (drum machines, synths, etc. - see an example of this use case at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Za4Nr7s3XH4) and has aftertouch, fading and velocity control capabilities.
