Description

Improved variant of the famous K2000 digital synth from the 1990s. This variant has an expanded ROM sample set (3x the base K2000) and improved P/RAM. The original floppy disk drive has been replaced with a USB drive for samples and patches, however the buyer should be aware that USB drives must be properly formatted for the floppy drive emulator.
Unit last tested one year ago, so the following information may be out-of-date.
This unit will require a standard C13 power cable (The type used for most desktop computers.) The keyboard is fully functional and can be used as a MIDI controller for external instruments. The line out jacks can be touchy, but the headphone jack provides clear stereo output. This unit will come with a printed copy of the VAST manual.
As this synth is over 20 years old a buyer experienced with the needs of older electronics is preferred as (like most devices of it’s era) it will likely need servicing in the future.
