IK Multimedia iRig Stomp I/O
The Ultimate Floor Tone Rig
iRig Stomp I/O is a brand new type of USB pedalboard controller that integrates a professional, high-resolution, MFi certified audio interface with MIDI input/output for iPhone, iPad, Mac and PC.
It comes bundled with state-of-the-art guitar, vocal processing, and recording software for flexibility and usability, both live and in the studio.
Sturdy and robust, yet easily transportable, iRig Stomp I/O features four onboard metal stomp switches plus an expression pedal with a switch, all with LED indicators.
To further extend its control possibilities, you can connect up to 2 additional switches or pedals. The MIDI IN/OUT ports make it possible to seamlessly control external processors when iRig Stomp I/O is used as a stand-alone MIDI foot controller, without any device or computer connected to it.
The Neutrik 1/4" XLR combo jack accepts instruments and microphones including condenser mics with switchable 48V phantom power. The balanced stereo output connects to an external amp, mixer or PA, and a 1/4" stereo headphone output is available for silent monitoring. The input gain and volume output knobs are easily accessible on the front panel, each with its dedicated LED VU-Meter indicator, for the quick-and-easy setting of levels.
Ready to rock, ready to record
iRig Stomp I/O boasts an elegant all-in-one design that perfectly highlights its flexibility and versatility. In a single piece of equipment, you now have everything you need to record in the studio, rehearse, or go out on stage and gig, without having to assemble a bulky and costly hardware setup.
With its high-quality 96kHz/24-bit audio interface, iRig Stomp I/O lets you easily record your guitar, bass or microphone - including studio condensers requiring 48VDC phantom power with true studio quality on iPhone/iPad, Mac and PC. The seamless integration with AmpliTube and VocaLive makes it as easy as plug-and-play to record on multiple devices using IK’s powerful, state of the art, 64-bit software. iRig Stomp I/O features a Class A preamp that can rival, if not surpass, the sound quality of floor processors costing up to three times as much.
As a floor controller, iRig Stomp I/O features an onboard expression pedal and four foot switches, allowing you to seamlessly flip through your favorite presets for natural, hands-free performance. The two optional control inputs let you connect up to two additional external pedals/switches. To further extend your control possibilities, you can exploit its MIDI functionality to send MIDI control messages via its MIDI OUT to your external gear and processors, using iRig Stomp I/O as a MIDI interface or as a stand-alone controller (even without a device).
Ideal for guitar, bass, and vocals
iRig Stomp I/O is designed to give guitarists, both electric and acoustic, bass players, vocalists, and songwriters a new way to have full control over their tone, in any situation. Its versatility works wonders even on hardware synthesizers, for sonic combinations never heard before.
Seamless Software Integration
iRig Stomp I/O is designed to seamlessly integrate with AmpliTube for Mac/PC and iOS as well as with VocaLive for iOS, for full-blown performance in the studio and live.
While using AmpliTube or VocaLive with iPhone, iPad, Mac, PC and PC tablets like Microsoft® Surface, you can easily browse your tone presets, preset banks, control wah processors in real time using the integrated expression pedal, as well as quickly access useful functions like the Looper, the Tuner, and more.
iRig Stomp I/O gives you the unique advantage to have the very same sound on stage as in the studio, with full preset portability.
With your device or stand-alone
A unique advantage of iRig Stomp I/O is its plug-and-play ease of use. As an MFi certified audio interface, it is designed to work right out of the box with your iPhone and iPad using the included lightning cable as well as with Mac and PC via USB.
It is the only floor controller to feature a convenient device bay, where you can safely position your iOS device – charging it during use - for an immediate and clear view of the interface. Used with PC tablets like Microsoft® Surface, you can take advantage of the touchscreen interface for enhanced speed and flexibility in creating and tweaking your tones.
iRig Stomp I/O can be used without a device as a stand-alone MIDI foot controller that can be integrated with regular hardware rigs and used to control outboard processors that accept MIDI patch change and continuous controls.
Extend your reach. Xpand your audience.
Whether in the studio or on stage, sometimes you might want a little more freedom to position your device. IK has you covered with a durable Mini-Din extension cable, letting you position your iPhone or iPad away the iRig Stomp I/O’s device bay. Whether you want it on a tabletop or fixed to a mic stand, IK’s iKlip range will securely and easily let you mount your device wherever you need it.
IK Multimedia iRig 2
The Most Popular Guitar Interface Of All Time Just Got Better
In 2010, for the first time ever, the original iRig allowed guitar and bass players to plug into their iPhone and use their mobile device to play, practice and record with apps like IK's AmpliTube, Apple’s GarageBand and thousands more.
iRig 2 builds upon the success of its predecessor by introducing essential new features — like adjustable input gain, cross-platform compatibility and a 1/4" amplifier output — that will once again revolutionize the way you make your music while on the go.
Now everyone can plug in their guitar, bass or other instrument and enjoy killer tone on their iPhone, iPad, iPod touch or Mac — with the release of iRig 2, the world’s most popular guitar interface is now better than ever before.
Plug and Play Simplicity On Every Device
If you loved iRig's versatility, you'll love iRig 2's new adjustable gain dial, which works with its built-in 1/8" TRRS output connector to give you a true plug-and-play experience with your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch or Mac.
Volume levels vary from instrument to instrument and from device to device. And while the original iRig provided superior sound, it was limited in that you were unable to customize the input gain level to your particular setup. With iRig 2, you get an input gain dial that gives you the power to ensure high-quality sound in every situation. This means that you'll be able to perform at your best no matter whether you're connecting a wailing 3 humbucker electric guitar or a jazzy archtop to your iPhone.
Likewise, its 1/4” instrument input works with your guitar, bass or any line-level instrument. Just plug into it like you would into a stompbox or amplifier. It’s as simple as that.
A Swiss Army Knife For Sound
iRig 2's new 1/4” output jack lets you use iRig 2 with an amplifier as a part of your live rig without the use of an adaptor.
This opens up a whole world of opportunities when paired with AmpliTube for iOS, IK's powerful guitar and bass multi-effects processor. It provides you with a vast library of meticulously modeled virtual stompbox effects, amplifiers and other gear that you can use as a part of your physical rig when you're jamming with friends, at a practice session, in the recording studio or performing live. Or, if you want to be discreet, plug your headphones into the included 1/8” headphone output.
Even better is that iRig 2 features a switch that lets you select between a processed signal and a clean "thru" input signal. This means you can also use your mobile device as a tuner, recorder or other tool while preserving the purity of a 100% analog signal path.
iRig 2 is there to help you make your practice and performance sessions as easy as possible. It comes with a microphone stand mount and Velcro strip that allow you to easy attach it for performance alongside other convenient tools like IK's iKlip range of mic supports for all sizes of smartphones and tablets.
A Digital Rig With Physical Presence
With iRig 2, you’ll be able to enjoy AmpliTube for iOS (the #1 app for guitar players). It's ready to go right out of the box. It comes with a powerful cross-platform suite of apps and software that includes free versions of AmpliTube for iOS and AmpliTube for Mac/PC.
To use, just download your preferred version for iOS from the App Store. Then plug your guitar or bass into iRig 2, plug your amplifier or headphones into your device and launch the app.
Immediately you'll see something very familiar : a complete guitar rig. AmpliTube for iOS recreate your entire guitar or bass signal chain in your mobile device and also — depending on your device — provide you with other advanced features, like multi-track recording and editing, high-quality export and more.
And while iRig 2 is the ideal companion to AmpliTube for iOS, it also works with any other recording, processing, tuning or music app.
