Our Honda EU3000iS Automatic Choke kit is the easiest way to add the auto choke function needed to remote start your generator. In order to use an AGS such as the Magnum Energy ME-AGS-S you will need a way to electronically choke your generator for cold start up.
This item will activate the choke on the Honda EU3000iS automatically during start up so that you can use a generator auto start controller as part of a solar system. This Item is the same choke system that I use on my long range remote controller, but configured to work with the auto starts that are on the market. This unit will allow you to use the auto start in temperatures that require choke to start. It is easy to install just watch the installation video above to see how the temp sensor and the choke are installed. This choke will activate any time the starter is engaged as long as the engine temperature is below 120 degrees Fahrenheit, when the engine is above 120 degrees Fahrenheit choke is not needed. Many of our customers have ordered our Honda EU3000iS automatic choke as a replacement for a faulty choke unit on the remote control kit that they bought from one of our competitors.
