the plate
i can find no issues. has pre-existing holes waiting for a mechanism to hang on the wall. this plate is by present tense home artisty. i was unable to find out almost anything about the comany. what i was able to find is below. it is in the shape of a square with cut off corners and depicts a group of animals making music (illustration has alot of movement). there is a horse/donkey/burro possibly singing, a rooster on his back singing. a pooch drumming, and a cat, possibly accompanying the donkey. the illustration is a design by ann hathaway (!) and was handpainted in hungary. the plate is 8" square (not accounting for the shaved corners). the rim is 3/4" away from the surface on which the plate rests. it has slightly curved upward side walls, giving a little depth to the plate. would make a wonderful gift for a child, particularly one that is into music, dancing, or singing.
