Description
British officers spadroon. Blade retaining approximatley 70% of its blue and gilding, having a floral design and showing the pre 1801 Royal crest. The hilt has an almost “coffin hilt” design, having a chequered grip and a five ball steel knuckle bow and guard. Complete with original leather scabbard with polished steel mounts, throat is marked “Cullum, King’s Cutler, Charing Cross” .M.Cullum left this address in 1797 and was succeeded by John Prosser.
