Georgian 1803 Light Company Officers Sword

Description

British 1803 light company model, officers sword. Regulation style hilt, showing light company strung bugle above the royal cypher to the knuckle bow. The blade shows the royal crest along with the “GR” cypher and retains a good percentage of it blueing and gilding. Complete with its original leather scabbard which has gilded brass mounts. the throat engraved with the maker’s mark “Collins 52 Strand”. Overall a nice example.
