Fisher Scientific Co. Refractometer
Made in Japan. This refractometer is lab surplus, and has been in storage for a while. It's gray enameled metal, with silver metal fittings/pieces. Has company name and logo on the front. Black cord with 3 prong plug in. Gray enamel paint is in good shape for age and use. It has some scratches and nicks, and some dirt. There are tiny nicks in the enamel along the base edges, and wear to the enamel where the base meets the rest -more on 1 side than the other. There's a spot on the base front where a tag was removed. There's a property tag on the base that I could not get off, but the number has been scraped off. The silver metal parts have finish wear from use and storage most likely. They are not shiny new looking. See photos. It needs some additional cleaning up. I just wiped it off. I plugged it in, and it lights up like it is supposed to. When it was put into storage it worked fine, the lab just didn't need it at the time because they had gotten a couple new ones. I have no way of testing it. I don't know anything about this sort of thing, so I wouldn't know how anyway. I am selling it for the lab it came from. It is possible it may need some work due to sitting around. I don't know. This item is being sold as is, with no warranty.  Refractometer is 12 1/2 inches high, 9 inches long, and 6 inches wide. Weighs 15 3/4 pounds.
