Behringer FCB1010 OS v1.0.4 UNO EPROM Firmware Upgrade KIT
This upgrade version v1.0.4 is a custom developed firmware for the Behringer FCB1010 MIDI foot controller
Included will be 1 upgrade chip to complete the upgrade.
All EPROM upgrade chips supplied here are brand new, recently manufactured and sourced direct from ATMEL to ensure data integrity well past our natural lifetime.
Please note that the FCB1010 Pro itself is not for sale, only the EPROM chip is
This upgrade aims to resolve bugs present in the official Behringer firmware release as well as add new modes such as “Stompbox” mode which allows you to utilize 1 row of FCB1010 switches to switch effects on and off, with LEDs showing the current status at all times.
Each of the “Stompbox” states can be programmed for each preset, pretty cool!
Other additions with version 1.0.4 include:

- Expression pedals start sending MIDI messages as soon as a movement is detected. Previous firmware versions had some 'hysteresis' implemented: when starting a pedal sweep,  the pedal needed to move an equivalent of 10 MIDI values before MIDI messages were actually being sent.

-The full MIDI resolution is now used for the transmitted CC messages when moving the expression pedals. In previous firmware versions a pedal sweep resulted in sending only 66% of the available MIDI values.
New
- CC values 0 and 127 are now guaranteed to be sent by the expression pedals after correct calibration. In previous firmware versions, even after perfect calibration is was possible that the 0 or 127 values were never sent.
Be sure to take note of the marked orientation notch on the side of the EPROM to ensure correct installation. EPROMS inserted backwards will be destroyed. Incorrect insertion of ICs is also likely to cause damage to the board.
All EPROM upgrades have been prepared in an ESD-safe production environment and will be packaged in equally ESD-safe materials.
