ANTIQUE CHILD SIZE VANITY SET
Adorable miniature children's 3-piece vanity set including a 2-1/3" wide by 1-1/2" deep chamber pot; a 2-5/8" long, 1-3/4" wide and 1-1/3" tall lidded box; and a 3-7/8" long, 2" wide and 1-3/4" tall box. All three pieces are tinted a charming soft pink and accented with a variety of Victorian women, all wearing floral accents in their hair. Both boxes bear a molded finial and lid piercings for venting, and all three pieces are gold trimmed.
Condition is as follows -- the chamber pot has no damage other than a very tight 1/2" line on the interior edge - it does not show from the exterior. The smaller box has no damage. The large box has an old glue repair on one side of the base, and a large chip missing on the other -- this cannot be seen when viewed from the front with the lid in place.
I think this set is just charming -- color is wonderful, decoration is so Victorian, and it displays just beautifully. Unmarked, but probably German in origin dating pre-1900s. Wonderful addition to any children's dish collection or miniature display!
