Antique Wood & Sons Alleton Child Tea Set Staffordshire Eng. Water Hen.... Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Priority Mail. 1880-90 child blue transferware pottery tea set. Rare pattern in blue. Pattern # 754. This set includes 14 pieces. Six plates, two saucers, two tea cups, tea pot with original ateam hole lid, and sugar/biscuit jar also with original lid.
This set is in used/played condition. Not going to be perfect. Most pieces do contain crazing. There will be manufacturer imperfections also like glazing pops, or even dragging of the transfer design. All normal for this age items.
Teapot looks great no chips to spout. Light staining on inside, from tea. There are wear marks to the.handle. underside of lid, chippy.
Sugar also looks great, underside of lid, chippy.
One saucer has a hairline, nips to the rims. One tea cup has hairline, other has an extra piece of clay on handle.
The six plates, two with hairlines.
Once again, fabulous condition for age and usage.
Orginal set whould of had 24 pieces. 6 cups & saucers, six plates, a waste bowl, teapot & lid, sugar & lid, and creamer.
