This refractometer is a portable multiuse tool for automotive owners,you can use it for testing the freezing point for the antifreeze fluid based on ethylene glycol or propylene glycol, you can use it for testing specific gravity of battery acid and provide a quick reference of battery charge condition, you can use it for testing urea concentration in automobile diesel exhaust fluid (DEF), you can also use it for testing windshield washer fluid based on ethanol or isopropyl alcohol. 4 Fuctions in one light and small instrument, with this refractometer, you can know the level of your regular automotive fluid quick and easy, help you protect your automotive engine.
Notice:
1.Accurate measurement based on good calibration, please calibrate the refractometer before your first use. But you don't have to calibrate it frequently, once every a few months is OK.
2.When you put your sample to be tested on the daylight plate, make sure the liquid spreads across the entire surface of the prism without air bubbles or dry spots.
3.Clean the instrument with a soft cloth after each use, keep the refractometer dry and clean, which will keep the instrument accurate and durable. Do not put the entire instrument into water to wash, this may lead the
refractometer to be foggy or rusty inside.
4.Please do not loose any connection part, and don't dropping, colliding, shaking the instrument intensely.
